Is it worth repairing an old water heater?
Under about 8 years old, usually yes. Over 10–12 years or leaking from the tank itself, replacement usually makes more sense.
Why does my pilot light keep going out?
Most often a worn thermocouple or flame sensor, a dirty pilot, or a draft or venting problem. It's a common, quick fix.
Why does my hot water smell like rotten eggs?
Bacteria reacting with the anode rod. Flushing the tank and swapping to a different anode rod usually fixes it.
Do you repair tankless water heaters?
